of our country are treated like filth.
As they are raped until their last breath leaves their bodies.
the bodies that were supposed to be temples.
the temples that were supposed to be in the home of a goddess.

as women double over in pain
as they believe that the blood that no man can bleed, is a disease.
As they believe that they were cursed to go through the agonizing trials of womanhood
they will never be respected for.

It won't be the drunk girl with the too-short skirt
or the girl going out late at night or the girl who was asking for it.
